Reviving Depo Pergamon. A Summer Restoration Workshop

A few year ago I was involved in the project of Depo Pergamon, a Restoration workshop held in Bergama, province of Izmir, Turkey.
Subject of the workshop is the Restoration of a Tobacco Warehouse located in the historical center of the city, the ancient Pergamon.
Depo (from Turkish: warehouse) was dismissed and its functions changed until a few years ago, when it was totally abandoned.

I’d like to suggest a few basic readings, important for a step into the current Ecological Movement.
Lately we are widely paying attention to alternative Natural lifestyles. This is stated in various way, from the Urban Farming to the Zero Waste Minimalism to the Off Grid Movement.
Either if you belong to any of that movements or not, in these books you can find hints in understanding about your need of connection with Nature and how the thought was initially formulated.
